Annual Fund

Generous contributions to Gerard Place's Annual Fund will help Gerard Place maintain the highest quality of care to the people we serve.  Your annual gift will be used to support the growth of Gerard Place's many services and programs.  When you support the Annual Fund, you will be working alongside Gerard Place to help break the cycle of generational poverty.  For additional information about our annual fund, please contact David Zapfel at 716-897-9948 ext. 100 or dzapfel@gerardplace.org.  

United Way - Donor Designation

Gerard Place is eligible to receive contributions through the United Way Donor Designation Option program. To participate, request a Donor Option card from your company's United Way representative. (As a reminder, even if you designated a United Way contribution to Gerard Place in the past, you must sign a new Donor Designation card each year.)  To be sure Gerard Place receives proper funding, please fill out the information as shown below:

Planned Giving

Leaving a Lasting Gift

Your gift can provide benefits beyond a lifetime.

You can help secure the future for Gerard Place and the families we serve by the simple step of planning your estate. Making a planned gift allows Gerard Place to continue meeting the needs of the community and providing life changing programs for the at risk families we serve on a daily basis.

There are many options available to you in our planned giving program.  Through planned giving, a donor contribution can be made in the form of a bequest,  a gift of property or life insurance in which Gerard Place would be named as the beneficiary.  A bequest is the most common form of planned giving and is as easy as naming Gerard Place in your will.

We recommend that you seek the advice of your tax advisor, attorney, and/or financial planner to ensure that the gift you are considering fits your overall future planning.

How do I make a bequest?

A bequest is one of the easiest gifts to make. With the help of an advisor, you can include language in your will or trust specifying a gift be made to family, friends or Gerard Place as part of your estate plan.

What are my options?

A bequest can be made in several ways:

  • You can gift a specific dollar amount or asset
  • You can gift a percentage of your estate
  • You can make a beneficiary designation of certain assets
